Dragster & Altered Flanged Rear End Housing

The lightest and one of the strongest flanged rear axle housings available anywhere for Dragsters and Altereds. They are custom built per application and incorporate a 3/16" faceplate, and .090" thick rear structure. Between the triangulated design and being 100% 4130 Chrome Moly material, we have managed to come up with a design with very little material, meaning less weight. A typical finished housing weigh approximately 24 pounds. Based on application, we can increase material thicknesses to deal with the additional stresses involved.

Of course, the assembly is fully TIG welded and we include both Fill and Drain Plugs to make the rear end easy to service.

You'll love this last feature... we saved for best for last; the third member is sealed with an O-ring, no more gaskets or messy silicone for fast and easy gear changes.
